Lattice Lodge Guest House PDF Print E-mail
Welcome to Lattice Lodge Guest House. If you're looking for a warm welcome, a top quality breakfast made from fresh local ingredients, in a peaceful, friendly environment perfectly situated for both town centre and out of town destinations, all at great value for money, then you've come to the right place. For those visiting on business, we're superbly situated for both town centre and BT Adastral Park, with the '66' bus route within a very short walk. Also walking, we're 10 minutes from Ipswich Hospital, 15 minutes from Northgate Sports Centre, and about 20 minutes from the town centre. If you're visiting for leisure, we are ideally positioned for escaping to the Suffolk Coast via the A12 heading north, as well as Constable Country to the south of Ipswich. Lattice Lodge is a large Edwardian Property built in 1908 as a doctors surgery and residence, and has been completely renovated throughout and extended in keeping with the original style. Recently acquired by local Ipswich couple Mosaic and Martin, Lattice Lodge provides a friendly 'home from home' atmosphere, yet with modern facilities such as a complimentary wireless network. All of our bedrooms are en-suite. We offer tea & fresh coffee making facilities in each room, with fresh milk, along with colour televisions, radio alarms, wireless LAN, and a work area for those with work to complete in the evenings. We have ground floor rooms which are ideal for those with limited mobility, of which one is purpose built for wheelchair users. There is also a spacious sunlit conservatory overlooking the landscaped rear garden, perfect for relaxation. There is a large on-site tarmac car park at the front of the lodge. Small ironing boards are available in each room, and an iron can be provided upon request. Breakfast - we are proud to say that where Mother Nature allows, all of our breakfast ingredients are locally sourced and from ethical providers. Obviously our orange juice comes from further afield, so we really would urge you to try the local apple juice - it's delicious! We serve breakfast during the hours below: - Monday to Friday 7am and 8am, and 8am to 9am on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Sustainability - our aim is to minimise the impact of Lattice Lodge upon the environment, and to support the local economy. We will do this through sourcing locally and ethically where possible, and reducing waste through careful purchasing, recycling, composting, and trying to avoid disposable goods. However, we will never compromise on quality, and we will also ensure that our choices in this regard don't impact upon your pocket.
